Well, it has been several days since my last post. We turned a business trip into a wonderful weekend at Mimi and Poppy's place. In fact, we even celebrated Mr. S's birthday a weekend early. Mimi and Poppy watched the Peanut while Mr. S and I enjoyed breakfast, surfing, shopping, and lunch together. It was the longest time we have together, just the two of us, in 5 months.
Taking the time to talk, walk on the beach, enjoy catching waves together, pick up seashells, stroll down the main street, take a leisurely lunch, and return to enjoy our beautiful Peanut and my parents was refreshing and rejuvenating for our spirits. Like the gal at the surf shop said, "It's epic weather." We truly enjoyed our epic day. Thanks to Mimi and Poppy!
